home-made protein bars

I made protein bars last night for the first time in a while. They turned out delish!

4    scoop vanillas protein powder
1/2 cup coconut flour
2    heaping tbsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground cloves
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp baking soda
2    4 oz container of apple blueberry baby food
1.5    4 oz container of water
4    egg whites and 1 whole egg
2    tbsp coconut oil
1/2  cup non-fat greek yogurt
*You can use any flavor you like and if you use unflavored just add some vanilla extract or cocoa powder.
**Also as a reminder – the original recipe (found here) had sweetener in it. I personally do not like really sweet things but if you do I would recommend adding either vanilla extract or a sweetener like honey or truvia. Otherwise this might be too bland for you.

Preheat oven to 325.
Whisk dry ingredients together.
Whisk wet ingredients together
Fold wet ingredients into flour mixture.
Pour into a greased pan or muffin tin and bake for 15-20 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. (I actually put parchment paper in the pan so they wouldn’t stick from the coconut flour)

It makes 16 bars so I use 2 to make the nutrients similar to this original one.
2 bars:
Calories: 165g
Carbs: 12g
Fat: 9g
Protein: 18g
I also store mine in the fridge in a large ziplock bag with a paper towel inside to absorb excess moisture without drying them out.
